Introduction to room service system

GTD hotel room intelligent service system is based on cloud platform architecture using automatic control, network information,artificial intelligence, big data and other technologies, with the gateway module in the room as the core of a special network. It sends the guest's service need (check-in, do not disturb, cleaning, laundry, food delivery, service, check-out, SOS, etc.)information to the hotel front desk or other departments in real time, so as to quickly and accurately provide service for the guest, and at the same time achieve the purpose of "green energy saving, management efficiency, and fashion intelligence".

Scope of application

RCU is mostly utilized in hotel, guesthouse, bed and breakfast, villa, club, apartment, and other smart guest room projects.

Product overview

1. The split gateway module is a product developed independently by GTD, which is a required module in the modular guest control system and serves as the whole system's core. Through 100M TCP, it connects to the external network. In addition, through the unique 485 bus, it connects with other modules to allow power supply, communication, and control inside the room. With the upper computer software, it is convenient and fast to configure the room number and network. It reduces the cost and ensures the quality of stable and reliable products, while also retaining the scalability of the product. You can also add a relay expansion board, dimming module, etc. according to the customer needs.
2. The power supply uses high-quality adapter module along with electrical efficiency conversion rate of 80% or more, low heat generation, no-load power consumption <0.3W, over-voltage & overload protection, 3C/CE/UL, and other certifications.
3. The product uses Omron high anti-surge and moisture-proof relay module. The standard relay is 30A, and the service life is more than 100,000 times. It also has low action volume and fast small heat dissipation.
4. The main chip uses ARM structure processor, the United States Freescale 32-bit chip, low heat, long service life, and fast processing.
5. It can connect with the third-party hotel management software to activate linkage control. It's also able to connect door locks, background music, safety box, key card switch, infrared detector, and other equipment according to customer needs.
6. Remote editing: uses embedded system to design and develop independently in addition to remote editing and remote upgrading.
7. Supports online download program. There is no need to pull out and burn the chip, which enables convenience in changing the program.

01. Remote Monitoring

The gateways in all guest rooms are connected to GTD's cloud-based servers via network cables. Hotel front desk or other management personnel can use GTD's room management software to view information such as room status and guests' service demands in real time.

02. Service Request

When a guest touches the service information panel button of a guest room, such as: do not disturb, clean, laundry, food delivery, service, check-out, SOS, etc., the front desk will immediately receive the corresponding prompt.

03. Room status

When the guest enters the room and inserts the room card into the key card switch, the check-in icon on the doorplate will light up, indicating that the room is checked-in, while the corresponding room of the front desk management software will also show that it is checked-in, and the opposite will indicate that the room is not checked-in.

04. Electronic doorbell

GTD room service system integrates the doorbell function. Touch the doorbell button on the doorplate outside the room, and the electronic doorbell inside the room will sound. In addition, the doorplate is also accompanied by a blue LED flashing prompt. If the guest presses the Do Not Disturb button in the room, the doorbell will be disabled.

Energy saving

Only when the guest inserts the special room card into the key card switch can the power be obtained, and when the guest leaves or checks-out, the power of the room will be cut off automatically.
